HR Manager

Airedale Group is seeking an HR Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role would suit an HR professional who is happy to operate in a hands-on capacity, working with the board to deliver our strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full HR function, supporting on all HR matters, including employment law and policy, employee relations, performance management, learning & development and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business

· Coach and support management in the application of HR policies and procedures promoting best practice on all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance

· Ensure continuous improvement of HR systems and practices

· Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process

· Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies

· Carry out new starter inductions

· Provide an efficient administration support in all HR processes relating to the employee lifecycle

· Monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary

· Management of Apprenticeship programme and recruitment of apprentices in relevant areas of the business

· Learning and development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams

· Supporting employees on company benefits

· Support change management processes

· Monthly reporting to the Board of Directors

· Monthly payroll reporting

Key Requirements:

· Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally at Manager level.

· CIPD Level 5

· Exceptional organisational and communication skills are required, together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application

Package includes:

· Competitive salary

· 37.5 hours per week, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

· 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
