eska®corr 6240 is used to protect bare metal parts after aqueous cleaning or mechanical processing.
This product has good material compatibility and very good water-displacing properties, supporting rapid drying of the component. It effectively removes water residues, even from areas that are difficult to access.
eska®corr 6240 leaves behind an oily protective film that protects the parts during intermediate storage or transport. When used in accordance with specifications, it can provide corrosion protection for up to three months with outdoor storage and up to 24 months with indoor storage.
Before subsequent processing or painting of the parts, the protective film can be easily removed with alkaline cleaners or cold cleaners from the eska®phor range.
