We continued our tradition of supporting charities and good causes throughout 2024 with another year of community donations, giving £50,000 to a variety of worthwhile causes in 2024.
Amongst the recipients of last year’s donations were Sutton-in-Craven Community Primary School which received a range of new STEM-related books to bring new life to library sessions and provide fresh perspectives on science-themed subjects.
£10,000 has been donated for a second year to One In A Million, a charity which engages young people in the area to break the cycle of deprivation. The money was specifically used to continue running its Keighley hub, sponsor four children in their programme and fund a youth work qualification for one of its youngsters.
We also continued to ensure defibrillator access in the area by continuing to maintain existing defibrillators with renewed batteries and pads to keep them operational and available to save lives.
A commitment was also made to fund a ‘family room’ at Sue Ryder’s Manorlands which will allow families to stay close to their loved ones as they receive end-of-life care. A total of £24,000 has been given to the hospice, raised through a combination of company donations and money raised by members of staff taking part in fundraising activities including marathons, obstacle courses and fun runs.

“We look forward to continuing working with charitable organisations and community groups as part of our ongoing commitment in 2025, particularly those with an environmental focus.”
