Is often found in the form of an aqueous solution that can be anywhere from colourless to light brown in appearance with a faint hydrochloric acid odour. It is a chemical compound consisting of iron and chlorine.
• Primarily used for the removal of suspended solids, organic matter, and heavy metals from wastewater.
• Used to strip aluminium coating from mirrors
