Lactic Acid (Food Grade)

A naturally derived, biodegradable organic acid with gentle acidity and a mild, clean sour taste.

Overview

A colourless-to-yellow syrupy liquid, lactic acid (E270) is widely used as a preservative and flavouring agent in food and beverage applications.

Its antimicrobial properties and ability to regulate pH also makes it suitable for cosmetic formulations.
