GLDA 38% or 47% (Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate)

A powerful, vegetable-based, readily biodegradable chelating agent with uses in the manufacture of personal care and cleaning products.

Overview

Tetrasodium glutamate diacetate (GLDA) is a chelating agent created from natural, biodegradable and renewable raw materials.

Stable over a wide pH range and highly soluble, GLDA works to create bonds with unchecked ions that can alter a formula’s appearance. For example, this can preserve soap and prevent it from going bad. It can also function as a preservative enhancer.

GLDA can represent an alternative to traditional chelators like EDTA. We can provide in 38% or 47% dilutions.
