It has been almost a decade since we at Airedale Group embarked on a journey to engage with our communities, give back to our neighbours and create a transparent relationship with all our stakeholders.
Last week we received recognition from our trade industry body, the Chemical Business Association, for everything we’ve achieved with the award for Community Engagement at its ‘Chemmie’ awards ceremony.
Having been shortlisted with four other fantastic businesses in the chemical supply chain, we were delighted to collect the award following twelve months of initiatives and donations to our local community groups, from new school books and wildflower areas, to defibrillators and riverside clean-ups.
Daniel Marr, Commercial Director, says: “Engaging with our communities has been a hugely important part of our ethos for many years and it gives us great joy to be able to support local community groups.
“We look forward to continuing this work throughout 2025!”
