Kit boost for primary school sports stars

We are pleased to have given the sporting superstars at Sutton-in-Craven Community Primary School a boost with new tops for their teams who compete in sporting events with other schools.

We have enjoyed a special relationship with the school since 2017 and regularly join forces to enhance pupils’ enjoyment of the sciences by hosting days on site, experiments in their labs, and donating science-related books and equipment.

Daniel Marr, Commercial Director of Airedale Group, explains: “We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the pupils and teachers of Sutton-in-Craven Community Primary School and as we’ve already helped them out with all the scientific resources they need, we’re now ensuring they can enjoy engaging in competitive sporting events too.”

Pupils at the school regularly take part in inter-school activities such as football, cross country and athletics.

Deputy Head Teacher, Mr Clayton, adds: “We’ve enjoyed STEM-based support from Airedale Group over the last six years and to have them extend that support to physical education, by providing new tops, will give our pupils a real confidence boost as they hit the pitches, tracks and fields.”
