As a water softener with a relatively low environmental impact and toxicity level, STPP is prime for use in the detergents and cleaning industry. Commercial detergency products account for the majority of STPP consumption.
A non-flammable compound, STPP also holds use across the textile industry as a synthetic leather tanning agent and masking agent. It also holds use in anticaking agents, flame retardants, rubber manufacture, ceramics (for decreasing viscosity) and much more.
With over 50 years’ experience and our own dedicated distribution fleet, we’re a leading, award-winning supplier of STPP.
• Detergents: The majority of STPP is consumed as a component of commercial detergents.
