Airsurf CDEG is a coconut diethanolamide with approximately 8-10% glycerine. It is a nonionic surfactant with uses in personal care and detergent products.

Overview

Coconut diethanolamide, also commonly known as cocamide diethanolamide (or cocamide DEA), is made from the reaction of coconut oil’s fatty acids with diethanolamine.

Airsurf CDEG acts as a viscosity builder, foaming agent, dispersing agent, emulsifier and superfatting agent in products like hand gels, hand washing liquids, dish washing liquids and shampoos.
