At Airedale Group, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve our site, making it a safer and more sustainable place to work and as part of our commitment to protecting the environment, we have enhanced our systems to further prevent any chemicals reaching our surroundings.
- We are continuing to refurbish our hard stand yard areas to prevent uncontrolled discharge through the ground.
- We are continuing to upgrade our bunded site drainage system so we can retain high confidence in our containment measures.
- All our bulk farm bunds have been re-furbished and re-lined with an upgraded, chemically-resistant resin coating as an extra layer of security, preventing any chemical leaks.
- Video equipment is now used in our drains so we can see how effective these systems are and keep an eye on any maintenance required.
