Acetic Acid (Food Grade)

In the food industry, acetic acid is used as an acidity regulator and preservative with the E number E260.

Overview

A weak organic acid, this product is able to lower the pH value of foods. This helps to hinder bacterial growth and achieve a desired taste and texture. Acetic acid can also impart a distinctive sour flavour to certain foods.
